Easy 3D CAD Designer Privacy Policy

DigitalAppIta (“we,” “us,” or “our”) publishes and operates the Easy 3D CAD Designer Android application under the package name com.easy3dcad.designer.

This Privacy Policy applies only to Easy 3D CAD Designer. The application uses shared SimplerCAD account, Firebase cloud-project, advertising, website, and support infrastructure. References to SimplerCAD in this policy describe those shared backend services and do not expand this policy to the separate SimplerCAD website or applications.

This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, disclosed, retained, and protected when you use Easy 3D CAD Designer and its related services. It applies to currently released features and does not describe unreleased products or functionality.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

Depending on how you use Easy 3D CAD Designer, you may provide:

• your email address;
• your display name and profile information when you sign in with Google;
• a password when you create an email-and-password account;
• messages, contact-form submissions, support requests, and feedback; and
• 3D designs, project names, model files, thumbnails, project settings, and related metadata that you choose to save to your cloud account.

An account is required to use the production application. You can sign in with Google or create an email-and-password account. Email-and-password accounts must verify their email address before entering the application.

Passwords and Google sign-in credentials are processed by Google Firebase Authentication. We do not receive or store your password in readable form.

Local project and preference data

Easy 3D CAD Designer stores some information locally on your device so the editor can work, recover projects, and remember your choices. This may include:

• autosaves and recovery copies;
• recently opened projects;
• imported models and project data;
• workspace theme, units, shortcuts, grid, snap, and layout preferences;
• release-note state; and
• authentication session information.

Local projects and imports remain on your device unless you choose a cloud-save feature. Exporting or sharing a file sends it only to the destination you select through Android.

Cloud account and project data

When you sign in, Easy 3D CAD Designer uses shared SimplerCAD services provided through Google Firebase to store and synchronize:

• your account identifier and email address;
• cloud-saved project files, project names, thumbnails, object counts, and timestamps;
• editor preferences; and
• records indicating that you have viewed a release notice.

Cloud project storage is used only when you choose to save a design to your cloud account. Editor preferences may synchronize automatically while you are signed in.

Information collected by service providers

Our service providers may automatically process technical information needed to operate, secure, and support their services. Depending on the service and your settings, this may include:

• IP address and general location inferred from the IP address;
• device, operating-system, language, and app information;
• app name, app identifier, and package identifier;
• advertising or other device identifiers;
• authentication, security, diagnostic, and error information;
• ad impressions, clicks, interactions, and measurement information; and
• advertising-consent and privacy-choice information.

Easy 3D CAD Designer does not request precise-location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos or media-library, or notification permission. We do not use Google Analytics or Firebase Analytics in the current application.

2. Local Storage and Similar Technologies

Easy 3D CAD Designer and its service providers may use local storage, IndexedDB, software-development kits, and similar technologies to:

• keep you signed in;
• save preferences and local projects;
• provide autosave and recovery;
• remember privacy choices;
• secure accounts and prevent abuse; and
• deliver and measure advertising in the Android application.

Clearing the application’s storage may sign you out and remove locally stored projects, recovery data, and preferences.

Where required by law, Google’s consent tools are used before requesting ads. Users in applicable regions can review or change advertising choices through the Ad privacy or Privacy and cookie settings option shown in the application.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• provide and operate Easy 3D CAD Designer;
• create, authenticate, and secure accounts;
• save, synchronize, open, and delete cloud projects;
• preserve local autosaves, recovery copies, and preferences;
• respond to questions, support requests, and privacy requests;
• send authentication, verification, password-reset, security, or important service messages;
• diagnose technical problems and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access;
• maintain and improve the service; and
• comply with legal obligations and protect our rights and users.

We do not use private project files to train artificial-intelligence models or for unrelated advertising purposes.

4. Advertising

Easy 3D CAD Designer uses Google AdMob to display banner advertisements. Google AdMob and participating ad-technology providers may process information such as IP address, general location, advertising or device identifiers, app information, and ad interactions to deliver ads, measure performance, limit repeated ads, and prevent fraud and abuse.

Where legally required, consent is requested before personalized advertising is used. If personalized ads are not permitted, Google may show non-personalized or limited ads. Advertising choices can be reviewed through the privacy option available in the application. We do not sell personal information for money. Because advertising providers may use or disclose identifiers and activity information for personalized or targeted advertising when permitted, that processing may be considered a “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” under some privacy laws. Users in applicable jurisdictions may exercise available opt-out rights through the in-app advertising privacy controls or by contacting us.

5. Legal Bases for Processing

For users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland, and other jurisdictions that require a legal basis, we process personal information under one or more of these grounds:

• Contract: to provide an account, cloud storage, and requested application features;
• Legitimate interests: to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the application;
• Consent: for personalized advertising or other optional processing where consent is required; and
• Legal obligation and protection of rights: to comply with law, prevent abuse, and establish or defend legal claims.

Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing performed before consent was withdrawn.

6. How We Disclose Information

We disclose information only as described below.

Service providers

We use service providers to operate Easy 3D CAD Designer, including:

• Google Firebase Authentication for account registration, sign-in, email verification, and password reset;
• Google Cloud Firestore and Cloud Storage for Firebase for cloud-saved projects, thumbnails, preferences, and related account data;
• Google AdMob and Google’s User Messaging Platform for Android advertising, consent, ad measurement, and fraud prevention; and
• Google Fonts for typeface files loaded by the application; and
• website-hosting and contact-form providers for support messages and privacy requests.

These providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments and as needed to provide services to us.

At your direction

When you export or share a project through Android, the file is provided to the location, application, or recipient that you select. Information you send directly to another service is governed by that service’s privacy policy.

Legal, safety, and business reasons

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or a valid legal request, enforce our agreements, investigate fraud or security incidents, or protect the rights and safety of the application, its operator, our users, or others. Information may also be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of all or part of the service, subject to applicable law.

7. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy:

• account information is generally retained while your account remains active;
• cloud projects and thumbnails are retained until you delete them or request account deletion;
• synchronized preferences and release-notice records are retained while the account is active or until they are deleted;
• local projects, autosaves, recovery data, and preferences remain on the device until you delete them, clear app data, or uninstall the application;
• contact and support messages are retained as reasonably needed to respond, maintain records, prevent abuse, and comply with law; and
• service-provider security, diagnostic, consent, and advertising records are retained according to the provider’s policies and applicable law.

Residual copies may remain temporarily in routine backups or security logs after deletion. We may retain information when required by law or necessary to resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or enforce agreements. We may retain anonymized or aggregated information that no longer identifies you.

8. Account and Data Deletion

You may delete individual cloud projects from My Designs in Easy 3D CAD Designer.

To request deletion of your Easy 3D CAD Designer account and associated cloud data, visit https://simplercad.com/contact/ and submit the form using the email address connected to your account. Write Delete my Easy 3D CAD Designer account in the message and identify the email address or sign-in method used for the account.

Easy 3D CAD Designer uses the shared SimplerCAD account system. Deleting the shared account affects the Firebase account and associated SimplerCAD cloud data used by Easy 3D CAD Designer and any other SimplerCAD service using that account.

We may ask you to verify account ownership before deletion. After verification, we will delete or de-identify the Firebase Authentication account and associated cloud projects, thumbnails, preferences, and release-notice records, except information we are legally required or permitted to retain. We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days.

Deleting the Android application does not by itself delete your cloud account. Account deletion also does not automatically remove local files that you exported to another application, storage provider, or recipient. Clear Easy 3D CAD Designer app data or uninstall the application to remove remaining local data from your device. Export any projects you want to keep before requesting account deletion.

9. Information Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. Data sent between Easy 3D CAD Designer and Firebase is encrypted in transit, and Firebase provides encryption at rest for supported services. Access to cloud data is restricted through authentication and security rules.

No website, application, or storage system can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your password and device and for telling us if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

10. International Data Transfers

We and our service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live, including the United States. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, service providers use legally recognized safeguards for international data transfers.

11. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• request access to personal information;
• request correction of inaccurate information;
• request deletion of personal information;
• receive a portable copy of certain information;
• restrict or object to certain processing;
• withdraw consent;
• opt out of the sale, sharing, or use of personal information for targeted advertising where applicable;
• appeal a decision concerning a privacy request; and
• lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority.

12. Age Requirements

Easy 3D CAD Designer is intended only for users aged 18 and older and is not directed to children or teenagers. Users under 18 must not create an account or use the application. If we learn that we collected personal information from a person under 18, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

The application restricts AdMob content to a maximum Teen rating as an additional ad-content safeguard; this does not change the application’s 18+ intended audience. Advertising providers also apply their own age, eligibility, consent, and regional rules. A parent or guardian may contact us regarding a minor’s information through https://simplercad.com/contact/.

13. Third-Party Services and Links

Easy 3D CAD Designer may link to third-party websites or services. We do not control the privacy or security practices of those third parties. Information you provide directly to a third party is governed by that party’s terms and privacy policy.

We may update this Privacy Policy when application features, data practices, service providers, legal requirements, or security practices change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised Last updated date. Where required, we will provide additional notice through the application, website, or email.
