SimplerCAD (“SimplerCAD,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, disclosed, retained, and protected when you use:

This policy applies to the SimplerCAD services described here, including the first iOS version distributed through TestFlight and the App Store. Features and data practices vary by platform as explained below.
The first iPhone and iPad version of SimplerCAD (com.simplercad.ios) saves projects locally and does not offer account creation, sign-in, or cloud project saving. The account and cloud-storage sections below apply to the website and Android services, not this iOS version. The general advertising, service-provider, retention, security, international-transfer, privacy-rights, and contact sections also apply to the iOS app.
The iOS app stores project recovery data and workspace preferences on your device. Models you import and designs you create remain local unless you choose to export or share them. Files shared through the system share sheet go to the destination you select; that destination’s privacy practices apply. Clearing app data or uninstalling the app may remove local recovery data and preferences. Exported files are managed separately by their destination.
The app uses Google AdMob banner advertising and Google’s User Messaging Platform. The advertising SDK may process IP address and approximate location, device identifiers, advertising data, product interactions, crash data, performance information, and other diagnostics for advertising, measurement, and service operation. This may include data linked to your device. Processing depends on applicable consent choices and platform permissions. The app requests consent information before requesting ads and waits until Google’s consent SDK permits ad requests. You can review advertising choices through the in-app privacy control where it is available.
This iOS release does not request Apple’s tracking authorization and does not integrate Google Analytics or Firebase Analytics. The advertising SDK still processes the information described above.

Passwords and Google sign-in credentials are processed by Google Firebase Authentication. SimplerCAD does not receive or store your password in readable form.
SimplerCAD stores some information locally on your device or in your browser so the editor can work, recover projects, and remember your choices. This may include:
Local projects and imports remain on the device unless you choose a cloud-save feature. Exporting or sharing a file sends it only to the destination you select through your browser, Android device, iPhone, or iPad.
When you sign in, SimplerCAD may use Google Firebase to store and synchronize:
Cloud project storage is used only when you choose to save a design to your SimplerCAD cloud account. Editor preferences may synchronize automatically while you are signed in.

The SimplerCAD Android app does not request precise-location, contacts, camera, or microphone permission. We do not use Google Analytics or Firebase Analytics in the current app.

You may be able to control browser storage through your browser settings. Clearing browser or app storage may sign you out and remove locally stored projects, recovery data, and preferences.
Where required by law, SimplerCAD uses Google’s consent tools before requesting ads. Users in applicable regions can review or change advertising choices through the Ad privacy or Privacy and cookie settings option shown in the mobile app.

The SimplerCAD iPhone and iPad app and the SimplerCAD and Easy 3D CAD Designer Android apps use Google AdMob to display banner advertisements. Google AdMob and participating ad-technology providers may process information such as IP address, general location, advertising or device identifiers, app information, and ad interactions to deliver ads, measure performance, limit repeated ads, and prevent fraud and abuse.
Where legally required, consent is requested before personalized advertising is used. If personalized ads are not permitted, Google may show non-personalized or limited ads. Advertising choices can be reviewed through the privacy option available in the mobile app. Google’s explanation of how it uses information from apps that use its services is available at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
SimplerCAD does not sell personal information for money. Because advertising providers may use or disclose identifiers and activity information for personalized or targeted advertising when permitted, that processing may be considered a “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” under some privacy laws. Users in applicable jurisdictions may exercise available opt-out rights through the in-app advertising privacy controls or by contacting us.
For users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland, and other jurisdictions that require a legal basis, we process personal information under one or more of these grounds:
Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing performed before consent was withdrawn.

When you export or share a project through your browser, Android device, iPhone, or iPad, the file is provided to the location, app, or recipient that you select. Information you send directly to another service is governed by that service’s privacy policy.
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or a valid legal request, enforce our agreements, investigate fraud or security incidents, or protect the rights and safety of SimplerCAD, our users, or others. Information may also be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of all or part of the service, subject to applicable law.
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy:
Residual copies may remain temporarily in routine backups or security logs after deletion. We may retain information when required by law or necessary to resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or enforce agreements. We may retain anonymized or aggregated information that no longer identifies you.
You may delete individual cloud projects from My Designs in SimplerCAD.
To request deletion of your SimplerCAD account and associated cloud data, visit https://simplercad.com/contact/ and submit the form using the email address connected to your SimplerCAD account. Write Delete my SimplerCAD account in the message and identify the email address or sign-in method used for the account.
We may ask you to verify account ownership before deletion. After verification, we will delete or de-identify the Firebase Authentication account and associated SimplerCAD cloud projects, thumbnails, preferences, and release-notice records, except information we are legally required or permitted to retain. We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days.
Deleting the Android app does not by itself delete your cloud account. Account deletion also does not automatically remove local files that you exported to another app, storage provider, or recipient. Clear SimplerCAD app data, clear the browser’s site data, or uninstall the app to remove remaining local SimplerCAD data from your device. Export any projects you want to keep before requesting account deletion.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. Data sent between SimplerCAD and Firebase is encrypted in transit, and Firebase provides encryption at rest for supported services. Access to cloud data is restricted through authentication and security rules.
No website, application, or storage system can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your password and device and for telling us if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
SimplerCAD and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live, including the United States. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, service providers use legally recognized safeguards for international data transfers.

To exercise a privacy right, visit https://simplercad.com/contact/ and submit a request using the email address associated with your account. We may need to verify your identity or authority to make the request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
SimplerCAD is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. A child under 13 must not create a SimplerCAD account or submit personal information through the service. If we learn that we collected personal information from a child under 13 without legally valid authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
The Android apps’ maximum ad-content rating is configured as Teen. Advertising providers also apply their own age, eligibility, consent, and regional rules. Parents or guardians may contact us regarding a minor’s information through https://simplercad.com/contact/.
SimplerCAD is not currently offered as a child-directed school service. Schools or organizations wishing to use SimplerCAD with children under 13 must contact us before doing so.
SimplerCAD may link to third-party websites or services. We do not control the privacy or security practices of those third parties. Information you provide directly to a third party is governed by that party’s terms and privacy policy.

Some browsers provide “Do Not Track” or other privacy-preference signals. The SimplerCAD website does not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals. We honor consent and opt-out choices made through privacy controls that we provide where required by applicable law.
We may update this Privacy Policy when SimplerCAD features, data practices, service providers, legal requirements, or security practices change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised Last updated date. Where required, we will provide additional notice through the website, application, or email.
SimplerCAD is the developer and operator of the SimplerCAD website, the SimplerCAD applications, and Easy 3D CAD Designer, and is the data controller where applicable.
